* November 1931: The inaugural recording was of “Land of Hope and Glory” with Sir Edward Elgar conducting the London Symphony Orchestra in Studio 1.〔("Recording the Star Wars Saga" ) Retrieved 2012-08-04.〕 * 14/15 July 1932: Yehudi Menuhin made his famous recording of the Elgar violin concerto, with the composer conducting. * November 1932: Piano Sonata, Funerailles – Franz Liszt, Flight of the bumblebee – Nicolai Rimsky-Korsakov, Petrushka – Igor Stravinsky with Vladimir Horowitz at the piano. * 25 November 1933: Richard Tauber made the first of over 250 recordings (roughly a third of his output) at Abbey Road, including his last 3 sides on 12 September 1947. * 23 November 1936: Pablo Casals becomes the first to record Suites No. 1 & 2 from Johann Sebastian Bach's Cello Suites.〔("Robert Johnson And Pablo Casals' Game-Changers Turn 75" )〕 * 28 August 1938: Adelaide Hall accompanied by Fats Waller, recorded 'I Can't Give You Anything but Love' and 'That Old Feeling' – HMV Records OEA6391.〔'Underneath a Harlem Moon ... the Harlem to Paris years of Adelaide Hall', pages 365 to 368 – ISBN 0826458939, Continuum Int.
